In appreciation of the owner of orange - the most fun colour ever if you think about it.
(I like Jaewon so I changed the theme to orange colour.)
Some stuff about Jaewon so that this would lowkey look like a fansite (though ofc not)
- Name: Lee Jaewon Hangul: 이재원
- DOB: April 5th 1980 (that makes him an Aries)
- 185cm; type A
- Associated with: H.O.T (since 1996), jtL (2001 - 2004)
- Position: rapper, sub-vocalist (lead in jtL), producer, maknae
- Representative colour: orange; representative animal: no official information from SM but I personally see him as egg/chick 🐣; representative number: 48
- Nicknames: 샤이 가이 (shy guy) (from the lyrics for "Go! H.O.T!" from H.O.T's second album), 막내 온탑 (maknae on top) (from that he's actually very lively and would like to pull pranks on his hyungs), 문어 (octopus) (from his long limbs which would appear to sway while dancing)
- Jaewon's writing credits for H.O.T: "You Got Gun?" (Resurrection, 1998), "PU HA HA", "Forever Song" (I-Yah, 1999), "Time Will Tell" (co-written with Moon Hee-jun), "Abandoned Children" (Outside Castle, 2000)
- Jaewon's writing credits for jtL: "A Better Day" (the song was a remake from Multicyde, Jaewon wrote the Korean lyrics), "Enter The Dragon" (all three Woo-hyuk, Tony and Jaewon participated in writing), "Mistake", "Really Want U", "Bow Wow" (co-written with Park Nam-hoon) (Enter The Dragon, 2001), "말해줄래", "전하지 못한 말", "아직 이별은", "MY LADY" (Run Away, 2003), "Merry Christmas", "Love is a pain" (Love Story (special album), 2002)
- One phrase he kinda hated hearing: "You are so tall!" but since he's always appearing to be a lamppost among his minion hyungs that his height consistently stuck out as a joke, even with jtL's whole group name.
- So people should respect the meaning and use jtL instead of capitalising the whole thing. Lee Jaewon did not accept to be abnormally tall for nothing, did he?
- Trivia no.1: He had a hyperfixation with computer back then, he was the one to introduce the internet to other H.O.T members. The story about how his father got Jaewon his first computer is very wholesome. What Mr.Lee got for Jaewon was a very nice model at that time, despite their family not being exacly rich, and later Jaewon was deeply moved knowing it was paid with installment.
- Trivia no.2: He was voted as the one who would survive the longest being stuck on an isolated island (this was during Wolf & Sheep era, 3/5 members picked him)
LITTLE FUN FACTS ABOUT JAEWON (CANON 100%):
•The creator and producer of AKB48, Mr. Yasushi Akimoto (Aki-P) is a huge fan of Jaewon, that’s why he named the group “AKB48” in order to pay tribute to Jaewon, since 48 is Jaewon’s representative number!
•Because he was among the very few celebrities who helped popularise and educate on the importance of the Internet during its beginning, Intel offered Jaewon to be the ambassador for Asia-Pacific region, but SM turned down the opportunity.
•Jaewon actually used to be 2.00m, but SM forced him to transplant quite some of his height to the other members who were all elf-sized back then. So now he’s 185cm.
•Jaewon built the whole SM Town website himself while he was still in the company, and did it for free since he loved computer and coding. But after he left, SM had to hire experts and that became a fixed expenditure from then on.
•Jaewon used to speak around 6 languages, with some being Slavic which he taught himself believing that H.O.T might eventually venture to that region for promotion. But that never happened so gradually he forgot them from not using.
